VOS Group

In June 1997 the Vos Group, together with a minor shareholder, acquired one of Tasmania's leading construction companies, Laver Pty Ltd. Towards the end of 1999 the Vos Group purchased the remaining shares giving it 100% ownership. This enabled the Vos family to fully embrace the construction business into the Group, encapsulating its foundational Christian business and family values. Over the next six months the Board of Directors took the organisation through a period of consolidation and restructuring, which included changing the name to Vos Construction & Joinery Pty Ltd. These changes, plus the fact that the construction business now enjoys the full financial backing of the Vos Group, has placed the company in a considerable position of strength.
